Covid update 24.3.20

Following our last update, it has been necessary for us to make further changes in response to the developing situation and guidance.

We are now handing out all prescriptions and medication from the self monitoring room – on the left hand side when you walk in. To reduce footfall in the surgery we are asking that only one patient comes in to collect at a time. We appreciate this is not ideal and apologise for the inconvenience, but it is important that we take such measures to protect our staff and vulnerable patients. If you have an appointment, there is no need to queue, please come straight in.

Please consider whether your query can be dealt with over the phone or via our website and do not come to the surgery unnecessarily. The phone lines are busy at the moment, but our reception team are working really hard and they will help you as soon as they can, your patience is greatly appreciated.

If you require an appointment with a member of our nursing team, you will now be added to a telephone triage list. One of the nurses will call you to discuss your needs and then advise the best course of action, which may well be that you do need an appointment, in which case this will be booked for you.

Please do visit www.gov.uk for full details on all topics relevant to coronavirus.

Please follow the advice issued by the government; stay at home, wash your hands and take care of yourselves.

Thank you!
