There is a nationwide shortage of Felodipine tablets. It will become available again but may be a few weeks before we can obtain supplieS.
In order for your blood pressure to remain under control your GP has recommended Amlodipine as a substitute on a like for like basis.
If you are switched to Amlodipine, we would recommend you have a BP reading in 1-2 weeks of starting the tablets. This can be done in the surgery in the Self Monitoring room.
If you have any concerns, please speak to our Dispensers or discuss with your GP
